About Cinder House:

Cinder House is a partnership project between Chef Gerard Craft and the Four Seasons Hotel Company. Chef Gerard Craft is the founder and owner of Niche Food Group, which has 5 restaurants in St. Louis, MO. As a Food & Wine Best New Chef, Food & Wine Innovator of the Year, and 2015 James Beard Foundation Award-winning Best Chef, Craft has been a pioneer for the Midwest dining scene. Cinder House is a Contemporary South American restaurant with a nod to Brazil that utilizes live fire cooking and South American spices. The partnership of Chef Craft’s culinary vision and Four Seasons best-in-class service is in perfect harmony at this award-winning destination. 

About the role:                                       

The Restaurant Assistant Manager assists the Restaurant General Manager oversee all facets of the restaurant.  The Restaurant Assistant Manager must maintain and control a high level of guest service.  This is achieved by ensuring consistent and thoughtful service, demonstrated by the restaurant staff.  The assistant manager is also responsible for supporting the hiring, training, supervising, and disciplining of the staff.  

Knowledge and Skills:

The ideal candidate we seek will be college degree qualified in Hospitality Management, and have a minimum of three years in the food & beverage industry. Preferably in a luxury brand environment. Have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills, good problem solving ability and be proficient in Hotel property management systems, in particular Micros. You will be fluent in reading, writing and spoken English language skills. Strong supervisory and managerial skills are essential, with outstanding demonstrated coaching and development skills
