Four Seasons Hotel Seattle is looking for a Room Service Server who shares our passion for excellence and is enthusiastic about creating the ultimate service experience. Our Room Service Coordinator will be a member of a dynamic team who provides service and support to our award-winning employees. This position reports to the Room Service Manager. U.S. work authorization is required for this position.

Key Elements of the Job
Deliver food orders including any special needs or requests to the guest in-room, check completed kitchen orders with the order taker or guest’s original order; transport items to the guestroom in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality. Greet guests, describe selected items to the guest using interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; communicate options for removal of trays and dishware; respond to request for tray removal according to established time standards. Breakdown, clean and set-up of room service tables, condiment set-ups, flatware, dishware, and room service side stations. Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests; Ability to answer calls in the absence of the order taker or manager Check the guest’s in room private bar daily and restock accordingly; communicate with order taker any special private bar requests or needs; remove private bar contents upon guest request and re-stock when guest departs. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in room deliveries to ensure orders/requests are delivered in a timely manner; deliver and set up guest amenities.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Previous exposure to Hotel Operating Systems (Opera, Micros POS and hotsos systems preferred) Flexible work hours to include overnight, morning and night shifts Food Handler’s Permit and Mixologist Permit Previous Room Service/Serving experience a plus Strong Communication Skills necessary for the success of this role
