Position Overview: The Sales Office Manager, will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel's sales office. Your business administration skills, strategic thinking, and exceptional interpersonal abilities will be critical in achieving sales targets, maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the overall success of the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Commercial Manager to develop comprehensive sales strategies that align with the hotel's business objectives and market trends.
Team Membership: Assist the Commercial Manager to lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets through effective support, performance management, and goal setting.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, corporate partners, and event planners, understanding their needs and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Sales Performance Analysis: Regularly analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth, and adjust strategies accordingly.
Proposal and Presentation: Oversee the creation of compelling proposals, presentations, and contracts that showcase the hotel's offerings and advantages.
Revenue Generation: Participate in driving revenue growth by actively identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities, maximizing event bookings, and optimizing occupancy rates.
Collaboration: Work closely with other hotel departments, such as banquet operations, catering, and reservations, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events and guest experiences.
Budget Management: Assist in the development and management of the sales budget, monitoring expenses, and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Event Coordination: Provide support in coordinating and executing special events, conferences, and meetings held at the hotel.
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to maintain the hotel's competitive edge.
The Sales Office Manager is a vital part of the hotel’s sales and marketing team, contributing to the overall success of the business by ensuring efficient operations, effective communication, and positive client experiences.
Sales Tasks and Responsibilities
· Maintenance of Sales reports and databases to have most-up-to date information available
· Produce accurate and timely reports (daily / weekly / monthly report) that meet the needs of the Commercial Manager to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leads
· Collecting, analysing information of top accounts with the use of various channels in order to increase productivity of the sales team.
· Coordination and research of incoming RFP’s : CREF / RFPs , Local Corporate agreements

Su di te
Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Strong understanding of sales techniques, revenue management, and market dynamics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
Proficiency in sales and CRM software.
Strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Previous experience in sales or a related field is typically required. Experience as a sales representative role is valuable.
Prior experience in a leadership or management role, such as team lead or supervisor, is often preferred.
Ability to create and implement sales strategies and plans.
Ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and HOD’s.
The capacity to identify and address issues or obstacles that may impede the sales team’s success.
High ethical standards and a commitment to conducting sales operations with integrity.
