Our recently renovated luxury hotel in New York, Conrad New York Midtown, is seeking an Intern to join our Human Resources Team!

Located in midtown Manhattan, this urban luxury hotel has over 500 rooms, 6,000 square feet in banquet space, and 2 food and beverage outlets. This includes the renovated 3-meal restaurant and in-room dining.

What will I be doing?

As a Human Resources Intern, you would be responsible for performing designated jobs and learning supportive functions in an assigned department in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships
  • Listen and respond to inquiries made by individuals calling or walking into the Human Resource office using a clear speaking voice to meet their needs
  • Assist incoming employees, managers or candidates and provide accurate information
  • Assist in planning and execution of various HR programs and initiatives. coordinate meetings, create materials and presentations, research key topics, and provide ongoing support and follow up in project timelines.
  • Supports coordinating training initiatives in conjunction with departments & Director of Training. Coordinating training sessions, creating communications, and tracking participation and feedback.
  • Ensuring that sufficient numbers of forms and proper level of supplies are maintained in the Human Resource Office.
  • Perform assigned duties as directed by department manager and direct supervisor

Pay Range: The hourly rate is [INSERT RATE OR HOURLY RANGE] per hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
