Health and safety requirement
First AID (the assistance given to any person suffering a sudden illness or injury)
Responsibilities :
Perform and supervise Open/Closing duties
Attend and host daily briefing
Be present on weekly management meetings
Display perfect grooming at all time
Report any issues regarding staff, maintenance, guest complaint to the GM
Running a section if necessary
Lead by example and ensure high quality service at all time
Provide trainings to the staff
Monitor staff performances and provide adequate advices or training for their improvement
Share ideas in favour of better performance
Maintain proper sanitation, hygiene standards in the venue
Monthly inventory of cutlery, glassware etc …
Over-see general operation of the venue
Monitor food & beverage quality
Communicate with the kitchen
Check and adjust lighting as well as sound
Assign service sections
Duties list
Before the service :
Sign in
Fill up opening checklist
Follow up daily bookings on arrivals, arrange allocations accordingly
Make sure everybody is present and on time
Check and if needed adjust stock Level on POS (Point of Sale)
Support daily briefing with the team
Check on staff grooming
Assign sections to each position
Check if restaurant set up is up to standards
During the service :
Lead by example
Coordinate orders & passo (mains away)
Maintain high standards of the service
Be a helping hand during service
Manage front of the house when restaurant manager is not on site
Follow up on stock during operation, adjust if needed
Build relation with guest if situation is appropriate
Check orders & sales of the waiters and sommeliers
Maintain high communication between kitchen & door (seating)
After the service :
Report to the restaurant manager and the chef about service, staff, customers, complain
Supervise and oversee closing procedure
Thank your staff for their daily performance
Check on wastage and spoilage
Fill up closing checklist

Su di te
Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role
Proven customer service experience as a manager
Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
Familiarity with restaurant management software, like OpenTable and PeachWorks
Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
Acute financial management skills
