Responsibilities:

 

  • Overlook all operational and administrative aspects of the restaurants’ beverage stations as appropriate and be able to prioritize the required level of engagement in all areas depending on business volumes and other related parameters.
  • Support company’s philosophy and company culture through the use of Pillars and Legendary Quality Experiences on a daily basis to ensure Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission Statement.
  • Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages. Preparing a variety of coffee drinks, along with side offerings such as cookies and pastries.
  • Promotes coffee consumption by educating customers by explaining the menus, answering queries selling coffee and coffee grinding and brewing equipment, accessories & supplies.
  • To be able to lead and communicate with his/her colleagues during bar operations.
  • To always follow the production sequence of all coffee products and bar sequence of service.
  • To achieve the service and product delivery standards with a high degree of client care and service at all times.
  • To responsible the set-up and operation of bar stations/sections.
  • Provide services for guest such as order taking, promoting restaurant food and beverage offerings.
  • Provide recommendations and prepare coffee and choices for the guest.
  • To co-ordinate the service of food and beverage efficiently and accurately.
  • To report and follow up all maintenance defaults affecting efficient and professional delivery of service.
  • To respond proactively to guest queries, followed by effective communication.
  • To perform all duties related to the restaurant opening/closing checklist.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Bar Supervisor/Manager.
  • To carry out daily, weekly and monthly inventory, includes replenishing coffee bean supplies, stocking coffee brewing equipment, maintaining supplies, pastries and cookies for
  • To maintain and order all the store requisition.
  • To maintain the stock rotation.


 

Requirements

  • Reading, writing, and verbal proficiency in the English language, Arabic is a plus.
  • Must have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position, preferably in a luxury environment. Middle East experience is an advantage.
  • Ability to understand guest needs and expectations; deliver superior customer service with minimal input from others.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks.
  • Must be a self-motivator and motivator of others.
  • Knowledge of bar service procedures and standards is preferred.
  • Ability to understand the flow of service and handle multiple tasks effectively preferred.
  • Mature and outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must work in a safe, prudent and organized manner.
  • Must be able to relate to all levels of Guests and management.
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Must be able to consistently delight and satisfy our Guest.
  • Must have very good communication skills.
  • Must have excellent attention to details, and extensive service knowledge.
