My role within the business involves the following: Event Coordination: • Handling of all non-corporate events such as opening parties, festive brunches, late-night get-togethers, live music events, and networking gatherings. • Event concept creation, planification, production and continuous improvement. • Curation and management of events from start to finish, including strategic planning, budgeting, scheduling, implementation, on-site execution, and post-analysis. • Managing and directing multiple partners including audiovisual companies, artists, and restaurant Operations team members; contract and fee negotiations. • Sourcing of prominent brand partners. Experience Curation: • Creation of content for a monthly show that features singers, dancers and actors; creation of scripts, soundtracks, costumes, and run of show. • Sourcing of props and costumes for various venues. • Creation of ad hoc events that excite and energise our guests. Marketing and Communication: • Close collaboration with Design and Communications teams to ensure maximum exposure in social media and the press. • Strategic creation and distribution of content on Black Sheep Instagram account dedicated to the ‘happenings’ within the group. Personnel and Financial Administration: • Recruitment of performers and day-to-day relationship management. • Budget management.
