IXO is the name of a business group which specializes in haute cuisine. The group includes the following restaurants: Mugaritz (Errenteria, Gipuzkoa), ni neu and Bodegón Alejandro (San Sebastian, Gipuzkoa), Nerua and Bistró Guggenheim Bilbao (Bilbao, Biscay). The aim of these restaurants is to promote the culture of gastronomy in a lively, nonconformist and idealist spirit.
The work of IXO grupo is not limited to cuisine, but the group has extended its activities to other fields, such as book publishing, scientific research, spread of experiences, training and advice for companies.
