 Porto Tourism and Hotel School opened in 1969 and is a reference in the training for Hospitality and Tourism industries since its inception.

Oferece atualmente um leque de cursos de especialização tecnológica que responde aos enormes desafios propostos pelas empresas do sector para o nosso país, desde Alojamento, Restaurante/Bar, Cozinha, Pastelaria, Turismo, Turismo Cultural e Património e cursos de Alojamento e Cozinha totalmente lecionados em língua inglesa, oferecendo assim a possibilidade de receber alunos de qualquer parte do mundo.

The current offer comprises a range of technological specialization programmes (Level 5) that cater to the enormous skilled-staff-challenges put forward by the companies that operate in Portugal (and abroad). From Rooms Division, Restaurant and Bar Service, Cooking and Culinary Arts, Pastry, Cultural and Heritage Tourism and Tourism Management. We also offer programmes totally taught in English language (Culinary Arts; Hospitality Operations Management)  that are aimed to anyone (Portuguese or not) that are fluent in English.

The school offers programmes aimed at meeting the needs of the Industry. It was a trailblazer in Portugal and it offered the first (and for decades the only) and Hotel Management Technique programme, inspired and formatted according to the highest-international-standards schools in the World.

Hoje, a Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo do Porto, com novas instalações desde 2010 - a antiga Escola de Artes Decorativas de Soares dos Reis - tem todas as condições para a elevada fasquia que apresenta o futuro e para continuar a formar largos milhares de profissionais nas vertentes da formação inicial e contínua que asseguram a qualidade dos serviços prestados em muitas empresas nacionais e internacionais.

Nowadays, Porto Tourism and Hotel School operates out of new facilities (since 2010- the former School of Decorative Arts of Soares dos Reis), with state-of-the-art premises and equipment, and a highly-professional faculty, to ensure the ever growing demand for highly-trained graduates.
