Evangelia Baralou is academic director of the MSc in Tourism Management at Alba Graduate Business School, The American College of Greece, and senior lecturer in Organisation Studies at the Open University in the UK. She holds a PhD in knowledge management in virtual teams from the University of Strathclyde, UK, awarded by the Society for the Advancement of Management Studies. She has graduated with a distinction from the MSc in Business Information Technology Systems, University of Strathclyde, UK and the BSc Hons in Computer Science, Athens University of Economics and Business. She teaches several courses in Communication Skills, Business Intelligence, Human Resources Management, Organisational Behaviour, Organisational Learning, Change Management, Entrepreneurship. Her field of study and research interests are in the scientific area of ​​knowledge creation through virtual reality and the use of serious games for organizational learning. She has participated as principal researcher or scientific manager in several European funded projects related to the use of virtual reality in organizational learning, selection, training and development of personnel. Evangelia has published studies in books, international scientific journals, scientific collections and conference proceedings. The publication of the scientific research 'How is new organizational knowledge created in a virtual context? A dialogical approach', which was published in 2015 in the leading international scientific journal Organization Studies (ABS 4), was nominated as one of the top 5 scientific publications for the years 2014 and 2015 with the prestigious Roland Calori award. Ms. Baralou is a reviewer in distinguished journals and has been a member of several scientific conference program committees.
