Falbra Ltd - XVI Suites is looking for a skilled Breakfast Chef/Chef de Partie to lead our breakfast station and help create an exceptional morning dining experience. As a Breakfast Chef / Chef de Partie, you will be in charge of the breakfast section, delivering high-quality dishes with consistency and creativity. You will lead your team, maintain smooth service, and ensure every guest starts their day perfectly.
Responsibilities and essential job duties include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and present breakfast dishes to the highest standard
- Lead the breakfast station, ensuring efficiency and quality during service
- Supervise, train, and support junior chefs and commis chefs
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop menus and daily specials
- Manage inventory, monitor ingredient freshness, and assist with ordering
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation, adhering to hygiene standards
- Assist with quality control, portioning, and presentation

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a breakfast chef, cook, or Chef de Partie, ideally in a hotel, resort, or busy restaurant
- Knowledge of hot and cold breakfast preparation techniques
- Ability to lead a team and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail, creativity, and passion for food
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Fluency in English
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Lingua richiesta: Inglese. Maltese è un plus
