Food & Beverage Internship

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support

• Assist in daily operations across assigned F&B outlets, including Chinese restaurant, café and lounge
• Support service delivery in events, banquets, tournaments, and special functions as required
• Handle basic food and beverage service tasks, including order taking, food running, table setup, clearing
• Assist with opening and closing procedures in assigned outlets

Rotation & Training

• Participate in planned rotation among F&B outlets, events, and banquet operations, subject to business needs and operational demand
• Learn and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), hygiene, and safety standards
• Observe and assist supervisors in coordination of service flow and guest experience

Guest Service

• Deliver courteous, professional, and attentive service to patrons, guests and visitors
• Respond to patron enquiries and requests promptly and politely
• Promote a positive image of the Academy at all times

Team & Operations Support

• Work closely with F&B team members to ensure smooth daily operations
• Support inventory handling, basic stock control, and mise en place when required
• Undertake ad hoc duties and projects assigned by supervisors according to operational needs

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the internship, the intern will:

• Gain exposure to multi-outlet F&B operations, events, and banquets
• Understand service standards in a sports and lifestyle hospitality environment
• Develop communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
• Enhance workplace professionalism and operational awareness

• Currently studying Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business, or related disciplines
• Strong interest in food & beverage and hospitality operations
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and hands-on mindset
• Good communication skills in English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin is an advantage
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays based on business needs
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene is an advantage (training will be provided)
