The Role: Independent working chef -I

Job Description and Tasks: From our new colleague, we expect that he/she will:

1. Prepares the ingredients for the dishes and assess the quality of the products/ingredients.
2. Applies basic cooking techniques, prepares and presents dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
3. Carries out preparatory work (cutting, mixing, etc.) and intermediate quality controls.
4. Is responsible for inventory and order management, and keeping the kitchen and equipment clean.
5. Professionally supervises assistant(s) and provides input regarding the composition and modification of menus, the menu card, and methods.
6. Contribute ideas for recipes, menu updates, and more efficient processes
7. Supervising compliance with regulations and the work of the assistants.

Your Profile:

1. MBO 3 working and thinking level.
2. Someone who has demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
3. Speaks English or Dutch.
