The B.Sc. in Sports and Leisure Management takes a student-centred approach to learning. You will study topics such as Communication, Marketing, Intercultural Competence, Leadership in Health Activity and Nutrition, Entrepreneurship, Leisure Law, and Facilities Management. Graduates will build the attributes and competencies required to work in the field.Using options in Years 2 and 3, you can tailor your interests around the themes of community, leisure and wellness, tourism or management. A final-year dissertation will be chosen from themes of Community; Leisure and Well-being; Tourism; and Management. In Year 2, students have the option to study at a partner University in Europe, under the Erasmus programme. Students will undertake a 6-month professional work placement. This may be completed outside Ireland, also under the Erasmus programme. On graduation, you may continue to postgraduate study in TU Dublin or elsewhere. Graduates will have the opportunity to gain accreditation in areas such as personal training and pool lifeguard. Exit Level 7 award available for this programme
