Trattoria, the Italian restaurant within the Kaldi's group, is building a proper cocktail and bar program, and we are looking for an experienced freelance bartender to design it and bring our team up to standard. Over a focused three month engagement you will create the cocktail menu, set up how the bar runs, and train our staff so they can deliver it consistently long after the contract ends. This is a build and handover role for someone who enjoys creating a program from the ground up and teaching others to carry it forward.

$2000-$3000 per month
A competitive monthly professional fee, negotiable by experience. Return flights, accommodation, visa or work permit, and local transport covered by the company. Sobre ti

Solid experience as a bartender or mixologist, ideally including menu development and staff training.
A strong cocktail repertoire with an eye for presentation and consistency.
Experience setting up or improving a bar program, not only working shifts.
Comfortable teaching others and writing clear, simple materials for a team.
Willing and able to relocate to Addis Ababa for the duration of the three month contract.
An interest in working with local ingredients is a plus.
