Job Description
Main responsibilities:
Works alongside commercial leader to development a robust sales strategies and action plan for the MICE segment
Manage the MICE Sales Team and the Planning Service Team
Manage a portfolio of key accounts
Implement effective and smart ways of working that allows for seamless client interaction.
Ensure all leads are attended to on a timely basis, with clear SOPs in place to provide a framework to the team.
Work closely with C&E Ops team to ensure all events are delivered to a high standard.
Liaise with greater team for alignment on each event as key to exceed client’s expectations.
Yield event planning and dynamic pricing to promote a culture of maximizing on every opportunity.
Maximise yield and business growth to meet budgeted revenue. Target specific actions to achieve hotel budgets and individual/hotel objectives
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years experience in event sales and planning
Projects professional image at all times through personal presentation / interpersonal skills
Organises time and work efficiently, and able to work under pressure
Must have full working rights in Asutarlia
Strong attention to detail
Effective numeracy, verbal and written communication skills
Develops and maintains co-operative working relationships
Demonstrated experience in preparing and delivering professional presentations
Demonstrates understanding of hotel financial reporting and key performance indicators
