Bartender

POSITION OVERVIEW

Mixes and serves drinks to guests according to the rules of etiquette; prepare bar and liquor room to fulfill this function. Expected to perform all duties related to Server responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Satisfying guest needs and exceeding their expectations by projecting a positive hotel image through proper grooming, appropriate verbal communication, and taking responsibility of guest needs.
• Attending the daily line-up and knowing what the specials are and how many do we have.
• Knowledge of all menu items and accompanying silverware.
• Maintaining overall cleanliness and tidiness of the bar and public space.
• Receives and properly stores liquor orders upon delivery.
• Keep bar properly stocked.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Need to be competent in the use of Micros.
• Knowledge of dining room and kitchen procedures helpful.
• Previous experience in bartending necessary.
