Job Description

, a luxury resort in the Maldives, is seeking a highly organised and efficient Transport Coordinator to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising all transportation operations for our guests and supplies, ensuring seamless logistics in our picturesque island setting.

• Coordinate and schedule all guest transfers, including seaplane, speedboat, and domestic flights
• Manage the resort's fleet of vehicles and vessels, ensuring proper maintenance and availability
• Liaise with external transport providers to arrange timely and efficient services
• Develop and maintain effective route plans for guest transfers and supply deliveries
• Monitor and analyse transport operations to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction
• Ensure compliance with local transportation regulations and safety standards
• Coordinate with various departments to meet their transportation needs
• Handle customs clearance procedures for incoming supplies and equipment
• Maintain accurate records of all transport activities and prepare regular reports
• Respond promptly to any transport-related issues or emergencies

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in transport coordination or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred
• Proficiency in transportation management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to solve problems efficiently and manage time effectively
• Experience in the hospitality or tourism industry is highly desirable
• Knowledge of local transportation regulations and customs procedures in the Maldives
• Familiarity with maritime transport operations
• Relevant certifications in transport management or logistics (e.g., CILT) are advantageous
• Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
