Job Description
Constance Lemuria, our luxury resort destination in Seychelles, is seeking a talented and passionate Hairdresser, Beautician cum Spa Therapist to join our wellness and beauty team. In this multifaceted role, you will deliver exceptional beauty and spa services to our discerning international clientele, creating memorable experiences that reflect our commitment to luxury and personalized care. You will work in a serene, tropical setting where creativity, professionalism, and genuine care for client well-being are paramount.
- Provide comprehensive hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments tailored to individual client needs and preferences
- Deliver professional beauty treatments including makeup application, facials, and skincare consultations
- Perform spa therapies such as massages, body treatments, and wellness rituals using appropriate techniques and products
- Conduct thorough client consultations to understand desired outcomes and recommend customized beauty and wellness solutions
- Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols in all treatment areas
- Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and products to offer clients the latest beauty and wellness innovations
- Manage client appointments efficiently and maintain detailed service records
- Build strong client relationships through exceptional customer service and personalized attention
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery and a welcoming atmosphere
- Recommend and educate clients on appropriate products and aftercare to enhance treatment results
Qualifications
- Proven professional experience as a hairdresser, beautician, and/or spa therapist (minimum 2-3 years)
- Valid beauty or cosmetology license/certification
- Spa therapy certification or equivalent professional qualification
- Demonstrated expertise in hair cutting, styling, coloring, and treatment techniques
- Proficiency in makeup application and skincare treatments
- Knowledge of spa massage techniques and body treatment therapies
- Strong understanding of different hair types, textures, and skin conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to understand and address client needs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, luxury hospitality environment
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as required
- Physical stamina and dexterity for hands-on beauty and spa treatments
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high service standards
- Preferred: Experience in a luxury resort or high-end spa setting
- Preferred: First aid certification
- Preferred: Multilingual abilities to communicate with international guests
