Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Server to join our hospitality team at Constance Lemuria, Seychelles. In this role, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, product knowledge, and genuine warmth. You will be responsible for providing professional table service in a dynamic, fast-paced environment whilst maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and service excellence.

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and seat them in accordance with restaurant procedures and guest preferences
•  Present menus and provide knowledgeable recommendations regarding food and beverage offerings
•  Take accurate orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar teams
•  Deliver food and beverages promptly, ensuring correct presentation and temperature standards
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and respond promptly to any requests or concerns
•  Process payments accurately using Point of Sale (POS) systems and handle cash and card transactions securely
•  Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the dining area
•  Clear and reset tables efficiently between seatings
• Demonstrate knowledge of allergens and dietary requirements to ensure guest safety
•  Handle special requests and complaints with professionalism and empathy, escalating to management when necessary
•  Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service delivery
•  Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a server or table service role within a hospitality establishment
•  Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and anticipate guest needs
•  Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
•  Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems and payment processing
• Solid knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including menu items and preparation methods
•  Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tables simultaneously
•  Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays safely
•  Professional appearance and demeanour
•  Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Desirable: Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings
•  Desirable: Knowledge of wine pairings and beverage service standards
•  Desirable: Multilingual capabilities
•  Desirable: Food safety or hospitality certification
