We are currently looking for a Storekeeper to join our maintenance team.
Responsibilities
You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with good interpersonal skills, problem solving and the ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
Ensure the upkeep and organization of the maintenance stores.
Conduct quarterly stocktaking to maintain accurate inventory records.
Collaborate with the Assistant Maintenance Manager for item quotations and purchases.
Verify and track received inventory, completing comprehensive reports and logs.
Conduct inventory audits to assess levels and procurement needs.
Manage the distribution of consumables.
Reconcile invoices with the Accounts department.
Input data readings accurately.
Adhere strictly to all Health and Safety procedures.
Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing goods.
Ensure cleanliness and tidiness in storage areas, in full compliance with hygiene regulations.
Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items
Verify that all received goods align with the agreed-upon purchase, delivery note, and quantity.
Job Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Good written and spoken English skills.
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC items.
Possession of a valid driving license is mandatory.
Positive attitude with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
Previous experience in staff management will be considered an asset.
