Description of the Training

Join the Experience Abroad J-1 Hospitality Internship Program and gain valuable international experience at a world-renowned luxury resort.

As a Culinary or Pastry Intern, you'll receive structured, hands-on training alongside experienced chefs in a professional kitchen. You'll strengthen your cooking or baking techniques, food preparation skills, plating, kitchen organization, and understanding of American hospitality standards while working in a fast-paced luxury resort environment.

This internship combines professional training with cultural exchange, helping you build the skills, confidence, and international experience needed for a successful hospitality career.

Nestled in the beautiful Allegheny Mountains, White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia offers breathtaking scenery, outdoor adventures, and small-town charm. During your internship, you'll experience American culture while enjoying hiking, nature, local festivals, and the peaceful surroundings that make this historic destination unique.

Depending on your placement, you may receive housing or housing assistance, meals during shifts or employee discounts, uniforms, a training allowance or stipend, hands-on training, cultural exchange opportunities, employee activities, and ongoing support from Experience Abroad. About You

You may be eligible if you are:

Currently studying Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Tourism, or a related program.
A recent Hospitality or Culinary graduate (within the last 12 months).
A Hospitality or Culinary graduate with at least 12 months of related experience.
A hospitality professional with at least five (5) years of relevant experience.

We're looking for applicants who have good English communication skills, enjoy learning new things, work well with others, and are excited to experience a new culture while growing their hospitality career.
