Aloha! Four Seasons Resorts Lana'i is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager will assist in leading and inspiring a team in the Resort's Sensei by Nobu Restaurant, while ensuring exceptional service to all guests. We are looking for individuals who share a passion for excellence and who infuse that enthusiasm into everything they do.

The Opportunity

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager will be based in the Room Service, Restaurant, Bar or Lounge within the Resort. They will assist in overseeing all facets of the outlet including selecting, training, evaluating, leading, motivating, and coaching a group of hospitality professionals. The Assistant Manager must maintain and control a high level of guest service. This is achieved by ensuring consistent and thoughtful service, demonstrated by the restaurant staff.

What We Look For:

Ideal candidates will have at least one year of management experience within food & beverage operations. The leader in this role will have the ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote positive public relations, and handle concerns, or special requests for guests. Ability to follow Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures is a must. Excellent knowledge of product, strong communication skills - written and verbal and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Some additional preferred qualifications for the role include a college degree specializing in hotel/restaurant management, flexible schedule, with ability to work overnights, weekends, and holidays and experience working in a union environment.
