1. Make necessary setup preparations according to the Banquet Event Order and/or directions provided by supervisor.

2. Check the schedule on a regular basis for arrival times changes in them.

3. Arrive for scheduled shift, following proper payroll and uniform procedures.

4. Prepare the proper mis en place for any function.

5. Set up buffet tables according to hotel and function requirements as well as with a creative flair.

6. Set all tables, side stands and back of the house areas for functions according to service standards.

7. Set-up, service and break down any wine, beverage or coffee station.

8. Ensure all condiments, including salt, pepper, sugar, flowers, skirts, and tea light etc.. go back to the appropriate storage area.

9. Attentive to the needs of all guests in the function room providing them with dependable, punctual and enthusiastic service.

10. Ensure all tables and chairs are set and the function room is clean and neat prior to leaving for the shift.

11. Service all functions including plated, buffet, silver served or VIP meals, coffee breaks, benefits, theme  parties, weddings, receptions, etc.

12. Transport all liquor, wine, beer, soda, juice, condiments, non-food items and glassware to the banquet function area.

13. Ensure the breakage is minimized.

14. Tally the consumption accurately and record figures where appropriate.

15. Provide courteous, friendly and efficient service to all guests.

16. Ensure to clean and keep tidy all function and working areas regarding to the standards.

17. Communicate with the guest s in a good and polite manner and to be attentive to all guest requests.

18. Report all guest complain and feedbacks to supervisor.

19. Ensure a clean, neat and organized work area and related storage. 

20. Respect to the determined hygiene rules.

21. Attend to all related meeting and trainings.

22. Make a team work, have a good relationship with department and hotel staff.

23. Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.

24. Consider the results of evaluations and provide personal development.

25. Respond properly in hotel emergency or safety situation.

26. Obey all hotel rules.
