The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager. Candidates with a passion for excellence, expertise in hospitality operations and proven leadership experience are invited to apply for a career with Four Seasons. As a member of the PR team, the Digital Marketing Manager works across disciplines to deliver an exceptional experience. 


The Digital Marketing Manager establishes brand and channel preference and executes data-driven strategy for Four Seasons Resort Hualalai. The Digital Marketing Manager supports the Director of Marketing and Director of Public Relations to execute strategies in digital marketing, social and influencer media markets, strategy and content development, collateral oversight, website wireframe, content and analytics.  This individual is capable of designing integrated campaigns with goals measurable and supported by analytics and reporting.  Supervise, train and motivate Department employees to thoroughly understand all of their duties and responsibilities. 

Digital Marketing: 

  • Aligns with Director of Marketing on the Resort’s digital strategy with a proactive and creative approach to all digital and electronic marketing platforms. Designs and implements integrated campaigns directed towards goals of awareness, engagement, and conversion with specific measurable KPIs and supports commercial goals including direct channel mix growth.  

  • Drives strategy and decisions in digital marketing alongside Director of Marketing, Director of Revenue, and agency partners to favorably increase desired metrics in SEO, PPC, paid social, email marketing and display advertising to ensure messaging and creative is aligned across all platforms.    

  • Oversees and optimizes online and offline presence of Resort including content and images on Four Seasons owned channels (, Four Seasons App, Preferred Partner, Sales Resource, etc.) and partner websites, ensuring alignment with the Hotel/ Resort’s positioning, business objectives, and storytelling.   

  • Supports Sales, Catering and Reservations with presentations and digital e-collateral, ensuring external messaging is aligned with brand guidelines and Hotel/ Resort positioning.  

  • Partners with operations team to promote guest data capture via the usage of the Four Seasons App, shopping cart, Golden, and online guest reviews to tabulate between Medallia, ORM, and C360.  

  • Partners with Director of Revenue Management to monitor online agency partner performance.  Hosts clear understanding of channel mix and optimum channel mix.  

  • Conduct a digital benchmark on a regular basis with key competitors (local, national, international) within the luxury space (retail, travel) to determine opportunities to improve our content and solutions.  

  • Willingness to work flexible hours and days of the week to support the essential functions of the department and division.  

Social Media: 

  • Manages Resort social media channels, curating engaging content that showcases Brand DNA while increasing total audience size and engagement.  

  • Executes effective community management of all social media platforms.   

  • Ensures social media content performs well in Brand Clarity audit and monthly marketing scorecard.   

  • Leverages social media channels to amplify key messages and support organic search through strategic and creative communication.  

  • Embraces data-driven approach to social media strategy, using monitoring and reporting tools  

  • Pursues, negotiates, and coordinates social media influencer visits. Build briefs to support incoming influencer visits ensuring expectations are aligned and the influencer understands the property and brand aesthetic. On-site hosting of influencers.   

  • Utilizes available programs (Olapic/ Social Native, Sprout, etc.) to vet and integrate User Generated Content.  

  • Works closely with each department at the Resort to identify and produce social media content opportunities.  

  • Monitors social media conversations relevant to the Hotel/Resort, luxury travel industry, and local market.  

  • Coordination of Resort participation in corporate global social media campaigns.  

  • Creates effective social media reports for internal and external stakeholders.   

  • Executes strategies within the Restaurant & Bar Toolkit to ensure maximum exposure for Resort outlets on digital channels.  

  • Aligns with Four Seasons corporate, Convention Visitors Bureau, and all key partner social media teams to maximize Resort exposure opportunities.    

Content Creation and Collateral: 

  • Ensures all content created for the Resort meets brand guidelines and is in line with Hotel/Resort positioning.  

  • Collaborates with the Resort operations team to develop and oversees collateral to support revenue generation and guest experience.   

Public Relations and Communications: 

  • Assists the Director of Public Relations with the creation of unique experiences, local partnerships, media communications, maintenance of media relationships, and media visits/interviews as needed.  

  • Team leader for “Only at Hualalai” experiences to design and execute the storytelling of one of our most unique guest experience assets on campus.     

  • Supports audit of communications ensuring alignment with Four Seasons brand guidelines and Hotel/ Resort positioning.   

  • Supports PR Coordinator to update image library and Press Room, confirming relevancy and accuracy.   

  • Contributes to the design and execution of all photo and video shoots.  Seeks opportunities to promote areas for digital content improvement on owned channels.  

  • Contributes to the annual business plan and budget in the areas of overarching strategies, annual communications and digital marketing plan and all associated expenses.  

  • Participates in departmental PR and marketing meetings.   

  • Assists in design of Resort promotional materials including print, digital, advertising assets and other collateral.  

  • Assists with identifying and executing local event participation and activations that reach the local neighborhood and surrounding communities.  

  • On-site hosting of media as needed.   

  • Other duties as assigned.  


  • Leverages full suite of online reporting tools including Adobe Analytics ensuring activities are monitored and optimized against the pre-established KPIs.  

  • Provides monthly digital KPI, social media, and Revinate reports. Support with other marketing reports as assigned.   

  • Consults monthly Inspire program email reporting to view impressions, bookings and revenues generated through this brand program.  

  • Leverages Google Travel Insights and Google Hotel Insights, reporting on opportunities.   

  • Provides action plan for continuous improvement to Marketing Scorecard in Content Quality, Social Media Engagement, channel mix index with an ROI mindset.  

Non-Essential Functions: 

  •  Proofreads all marketing material, including collateral, direct mail, advertising, printed promotional pieces, guest correspondence, etc. as required.   

  • Performs other tasks or projects as assigned by the Director of Marketing and Director of Public Relations.      

  • Responds according to the crisis management plan to any Resort emergency or safety situation.   

  • Always acts as a brand ambassador to Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, both in and out of the resort and on personal social media accounts.  


  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States 

  • Three to five years of experience in a digital marketing capacity with Four Seasons or another related organization.  

  • College education preferred.   

  • Previous digital marketing experience, and hospitality and sales experience preferred.  

  • Experience with social media platforms, consumer engagement and strong awareness of the digital world.  

  • Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills.  

  • Photography and video production oversight skills.  

  • Attention to detail and organization.  

  • Influencer and media relations experience.  

  • Ability to multi-task effectively, managing multiple projects while being cognizant of deadlines and priorities.  

  • Ability to manage third-party agencies, partners, and vendors.  

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
