Justification

The Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto is looking for an Director of Purchasing. Candidates with passion for excellence, expertise in hospitality operations and proven leadership experience are invited to apply for a career with Four Seasons. As a member of the Finance Division, the Director of Purchasing works across disciplines to deliver an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities

The Director of Purchasing coordinates and manages the overall operations of the Purchasing, Receiving and Storeroom Departments to ensure that all departments of the hotel have adequate supplies to perform their duties in an efficient manner. The Assistant Director of Purchasing keeps abreast of new and alternative products in the market and consults with hotel management on products to enhance cost effectiveness and quality standards.
