The Opportunity:  

Four Seasons is currently looking for a Rooms Controller.  

Essential function of the job:  

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:  

  • The Rooms Controller is a central part of the Front Office Team whose main objective is to ensure our guests have a smooth arrival and departure experience by reviewing daily arrivals, VIPs, special request, group needs, room assignments and coordinates with Housekeeping Department the needs of guests  

  • Monitors incoming Chat Message via FS Messengers and reply or add other departments to the conversations when appropriate  

  • Assists Front Desk duties when needed: Checks in/out, answers guest calls and directs them appropriately in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest name whenever possible 

  • Assists in accepting reservations, changes, and cancellations in the absence of Reservations Team.   

  • Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints; assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc. Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner. Interaction with guest will be in person and by phone 

  • Performs all other tasks or projects as assigned by the management  



Qualifications and Skills:   

  • Must have a minimum of two years’ hotel experience including at least one year working at Front Desk  

  • Must have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills, good problem-solving ability  

  • Must be proficient in hotel property management systems, in particular Opera 



  • Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language  

  • Flexible schedule required to include weekends, holidays, and evenings  

  • Must provide work authorization document - proof of eligibility to work in the United States of America
