The  Kids Club and Activities Assistant Manager shall oversee all operations, programs and of the Kids For All Seasons department. And to provide primary oversite, coordination and support of the resorts activities and special events, to support to the operation departments, Marketing and Public Relations.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

Coordinate monthly #FSWAYFINDERS calendar and updates in conjunction with Concierge Manager The ability to follow proper payroll procedures. Update website content and ensure timely content is deployed in hotel channels Identify and vet new experiences and explore new workshop opportunities Provide ongoing liaison with existing #FSWAYFINDERS (trouble shooting, scheduling, etc.) in conjunction with Concierge Manager Curate quarterly and festive events, including long-lead planning for future events, to foster a deep connection to place Assist in the pre-planning effort and internal/external communications to optimize and enhance the guest experience and employee engagement around destination events and key holiday periods.

Attend resort events and programs as a lead resource to monitor and improve execution The ability to ensure function space is blocked and set-up properly if needed.

10.  The ability to set-up all equipment prior to children’s arrival including any audio/visual, food        and beverage, arts and crafts supplies, books, activities, etc.

11.  The ability to ensure all parents have completed a permission slip and/or waiver form.

12.  The ability to control and direct all children throughout the day either in the room, at the       beach/pool, or playing on the resort grounds.

13.  The ability to keep all areas utilized clean and organized.

14.  The ability to requisition, store and retrieve all supplies ad equipment.

15.  The ability to provide any immediate first-aid or CPR and know how to handle an     accident/injury, an emergency, or an ill child.

16.  The ability to handle lost and found items.

17.  The ability to handle an inconvenienced guest with a complaint.

18.  The ability to respond properly in any resort emergency or safety situation.

19.  The ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.

20.  The ability to train new employees.

21.  The ability to create new ideas for activities in the program.

22.  The ability to participate in the employee performance review processes. 

23.  The ability to directly supervise personnel in carrying out work schedules as well as spot

       checking to verify quality and employee performance.

24.  The ability to ensure that the shift is covered at all times

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

1.  Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.

2.  Must be certified in First-aid, CPR and Lifeguard.

3.  Preferred 2 year college degree with 2 year experience with children or a 4 year college degree with 1 year experience with children or a child development association degree.

4.  Complete Request for Criminal History Record Clearance. (FBI fingerprint and background check).

5.  Must obtain a State of Hawaii TB clearance.

6.  Employment history information from past three years.

Successful candidates must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
