Turndown Attendant

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Turndown Attendant, an exciting opportunity to be part of the new Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville!

The Turndown Attendant is an integral part of the Housekeeping Team, maintaining the guest rooms and suites to industry high standards which allows the ultimate comfort for our visiting guests. A great eye for detail, a high sense of quality and integrity, and a passion for great service will make a successful candidate.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Clean guestrooms as assigned by management and in accordance with hotel standards.
• Inspect all rooms (vacant or occupied) checking standard of cleanliness, missing guest amenities and/or supplies.
• Has a set number of occupied rooms to clean during a shift. Removes used towels and replaces them with clean ones from the Linen Closet.  Wipes down any wet services in the bathroom. Folds any clothing left in room and places it in appropriate spot.  Removes Room Service trays, dishes and carts to service landings. Closes drapes, reduces lighting, turn music on softly and prepares bed.
• Restocks used amenities such as shampoo, lotions, cotton balls, stationery, and pens.
• Prepares unoccupied rooms for turndown for arriving guests.
• Is proficient in the safe handling of all relevant equipment and machinery, reports defects and accidents to management immediately.
• Responsible for reporting to the manager the rooms, which do not require service, or which have Privacy signs in assigned area.
• To carry out any other cleaning duties as specified by your manager.
• Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and hotel employees.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• High School education or equivalent experiences. 
• Preferred experience in a luxury hotel in Housekeeping or equivalent with Four Seasons or another organization. 
• Have a high level of attention to detail.
• Knowledge and the ability to operate cleaning equipment.
• Ability to understand and working knowledge of English. 
• Must be flexible with schedule - Able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, evening/overnight shifts
