Guest Services Manager – Private Island Luxury Resort

At Fregate Island, Guest Services is about far more than check-ins and concierge services. It is about creating unforgettable experiences and genuine connections with every guest who visits our private island.

As Guest Services Manager, you will lead one of the resort's most visible departments, overseeing Island Guides, Guest Relations, Night Operations, Boutique operations, transfers and the overall guest journey from arrival to departure. You will ensure every experience is seamless, personalised and delivered to the highest luxury hospitality standards.

A key part of your role will be developing our unique Island Guide concept. Our Island Guides are not traditional butlers—they are experience hosts who actively engage with guests, sharing their personalities, interests and knowledge while creating memorable moments throughout each stay. Your role will be to inspire, coach and develop this team while ensuring consistency in service delivery.

Working closely with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering, Spa, Marina and Reservations, you will coordinate every aspect of the guest experience while continuously looking for ways to exceed expectations.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being present with both guests and the team, leads by example, and thrives in a dynamic luxury environment.

We're looking for an experienced hospitality leader who is passionate about personalised luxury service and believes that genuine guest connections create unforgettable experiences.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• At least 5 years' experience leading Guest Services, Front Office, Butler, Concierge or Guest Experience teams within luxury hospitality.
• Experience in ultra-luxury resorts, private islands, safari lodges or boutique hotels.
• A natural ability to inspire, coach and develop multicultural teams.
• Excellent organisational skills and confidence coordinating multiple departments.
• Strong operational knowledge, including PMS systems (Opera or similar), budgeting and departmental planning.
• Outstanding communication skills and the confidence to interact with high-profile international guests.
• Fluency in English. Additional languages are a strong advantage.
• A calm, positive and solution-focused approach under pressure.
