As a Food & Beverage Server, you will play a key role in delivering a luxurious dining experience by warmly welcoming and attentively serving our guests. Your professionalism, knowledge, and teamwork will ensure every guest feels valued and enjoys impeccable service.
Job Duties & Functions
* Warmly welcome and serve guests, ensuring a luxury dining experience
* Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them efficiently into the POS system.
* Maintain strong knowledge of all menu items, including food, wine, and specialty beverages.
* Assist with side duties such as setting/breaking down service stations, bussing tables, and to-go orders.
* Ensure cleanliness and safety across all areas of service.
* Consistently stay updated with the latest food and beverage trends, spirits and wine knowledge to deliver exceptional guest dining experiences.
* Work collaboratively with support staff and communicate effectively with management.
* Handle guest feedback gracefully and refer any concerns to management for resolution.
* Attend all required training sessions and consistently follow Forbes/AAA service standards.
* Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as directed by management.
* Support fellow colleagues with flexibility and a team-first mindset.
* Performs other duties and attends meetings, as assigned by hotel/department leadership.
Education & Experience
* At least 1 year of experience in a luxury, full-service or upscale dining environment.
* Strong understanding of Forbes Travel Guide, AAA Five Diamond, LQA or equivalent service standards.
* Passion for hospitality and creating meaningful guest experiences.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important.
* Knowledge of wine and spirits. Certifications are a plus.
* Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness certifications (as applicable).
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while staying composed and attentive.
* Familiarity with POS systems and accurate payment handling.
* Ability to read, write and converse in English. Additional languages are a plus.
* Flexible schedule, including availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
