Executive Chef

Hideaway Beach Resort & Spa is looking for a seasoned Executive Chef to join our Food & Beverage Production Team. Set on a private island surrounded by the tranquil blue waters of the Indian Ocean, our resort offers an exceptional all-inclusive experience in the Maldives. Located just 40 minutes by seaplane from Male, our property features premium dining options with an extensive selection of wines and spirits, plus three complimentary excursions included with every stay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and execute all Food & Beverage production operations
• Create, prepare, and present dishes that meet our high standards
• Participate actively in all F&B production activities
• Ensure guest requests are promptly met and followed up
• Strictly adhere to HACCP guidelines and hygiene standard operating procedures
• Comply with all Resort SOPs and maintain impeccable grooming standards
• Provide a warm, personalized welcome to every guest

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Executive Chef in a 5-star hotel or resort
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong guest orientation with a focus on personalized service
• Adaptability to various work situations and environments
• Ability to perform well under pressure within a diverse, multicultural team
• Commitment to maintaining exceptional grooming standards
• Willingness to live and work in an island resort setting
