Cook A/B (Chef de partie / Demi chef de partie)

Aloe Boutique & Suites is looking for a Chef de Partie (Cook A) and a Demi Chef de Partie (Cook B) for seasonal employment at the hotel’s restaurant in Chania, Crete.

Candidates should have previous experience in a similar position, a good command of English, and the ability to work as part of a team. Knowledge of Greek is not required.

Responsibilities include preparing dishes in accordance with the hotel’s standards, maintaining quality control, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations, and working effectively within the kitchen team.

Candidates should have previous experience in a professional kitchen and a good understanding of kitchen operations and basic culinary techniques. A good command of English is required, along with the ability to communicate clearly and work effectively within a team.

For the Chef de Partie (Cook A) position, candidates are expected to have solid experience in a similar role, the ability to manage their section independently, maintain consistency in quality, and support the coordination of daily kitchen operations.

For the Cook B position, candidates should be comfortable working under supervision, supporting the preparation and execution of dishes, and following established standards and instructions.

A responsible and organised approach to work is essential for both roles, with attention to detail and consistency in execution. Candidates should be able to perform in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations is required. Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and shifts, is expected.
