What you will do as a Head Chef at the Montagu Kitchen & Lounge, a contemporary and seasonal British all-day dining destination

  • Managing food costs in accordance with budget & the hotel business plan
  • Responsible for seasonal menu change
  • Work successfully with other teams to maximize guest satisfaction and enhance guest dining experiences
  • Supervise colleagues within the department, making sure that the correct standards and methods of service are maintained as stated in the Departmental Operations Manual
  • Training, coaching & mentoring culinary colleagues to make sure that they have the skills necessary to perform their duties in the most productive way, ensuring maximum colleague engagement
  • Recruit future culinary talent and manage the performance of the team
  •   To implement effective training programs for colleagues in coordination with the Learning Manager and/or Departmental Trainer
