Job Description
Reporting to the Spa Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene as per the Araamu spa and the hotel standard.
- Contribute to moral and team spirit of the spa by maintaining relationship with colleagues.
- Keep the changing rooms and toilets clean at all the time and check the amenities.
- Cleaning of Spa doors, door locks, water taps, lockers, mirrors, on daily basis.
- Check the changing rooms in every 30 minute and take use linen and clean the place the new.
- Wiping the floor, mopping, dusting furniture’s wash and wipe the cutleries and other amenities.
- Clean the shower areas of indoor and outdoor massage room.
- Clean the bath tubs, sauna and steam rooms.
- Take all the spa linens from the laundry
- Take all used linens to laundry b
- cleaning of celling fan and light holders
- Clean the pond area.
- To help therapists prepare and clean the rooms after the treatment if they are busy.
- Pick up the flower for making baths and take the fruits & vegetables if required for spa treatments.
Qualifications
- At least 1 years’ experience in a Spa, Fitness Club or Guest Services role in a luxury hotel environment is strongly preferred
- Current First Aid and CPR certification is strongly preferred
- Proven ability to focus attention on guests needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Energetic with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven effective problem solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Proven ability to work in a demanding fast paced environment
- Proven ability to work cohesively as part of a team in a multi-cultural, diverse environment
- Strong work ethic, highly responsible, reliable and the ability to work extended hours including evenings, public holidays and weekends is required
