We are now looking for a Assistant Vice President, Media and Social to join our Global Headquarter based in Hong Kong. This role will be responsibleresponsible for Social Media strategy and Media Planning across the Organization, including our Corporate Social Media accounts management, Media campaigns, projects and Social tools & platforms.

As our AVP, Media & Social, we will rely on you to:

  • Create a comprehensive Social Media strategy and Media Planning for Shangri-La Group, that oversees both Shangri-La Corporate and Hotels’ business objectives
  • Own Corporate Social Media channels management and user access governance
  • Lead the team of to work on Social Media projects, Community Management, Social Tools & Platforms
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing, Brand, Loyalty, F&B, and Regional teams on the execution of Social Media campaigns
  • Provide Social Media guidelines to Regional and Hotel teams, both for in-hotel and online activation
  • Lead the team to manage all Social Media Analytics and reporting work streams
  • Propose creative projects, tools and test new approaches to generate awareness, buzz and business demand
  • Define media planning framework and audit on media process, conduct necessary Social Media agencies selection process
  • Stay up to date with all Marketing and Social Media innovations and share with relevant stakeholders accordingly


We are looking for someone who has;

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management / Communications / Marketing / Digital Marketing / Advertising / Public Relations
  • 10+ years digital marketing experience, and specifically in Social Media and Content Marketing. Solid expereince in Xiaohongshu,experience in KOL marketing is a plus
  • Proven track record of success and previous experience working in large scale or/ a complex organization with brand, sales, marketing
  • In-depth working knowledge of social tools and platforms, paid social solutions, content marketing
  • Expereince from tourism industry or Digital/Social Media agency are preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills combined with the confidence that comes with functional experience
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese
