We are looking for a Copywriter based at Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong!

As a Copywriter, we rely on you to:

• Be responsible for drafting all communications materials for online and offline platform including but not limited to in-house materials, poster, EDM, advertisement, video scripts, social media posting and press release to drive traffic, engagement, leads, that deliver sales and customer retention for the properties of Shangri-La.
• Ensure the hotel’s creative message and event activities are consistent with the advertising of sister hotels and the Shangri-La group advertising
• Work closely with the Digital Marketing Team and Graphic Designers for the development and execution of promotional plans and marketing materials including but not limited to collateral, content, photography and videography
• Keeps abreast of all the latest news and tools in the Social/Digital world; explores new social media and video channels that are trending popular
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior from time to time

We are looking for someone who has:

• Degree holder in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Digital Marketing or related disciplines
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in PR firm or advertising agency
• Excellent editing, copywriting and proof-reading skills in English & Chinese
• Excellent in communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid understanding of social media trends
• Strong sense of responsibility, mature, detail-minded and self-motivated
• Able to meet tight deadline and work under pressure
