We are currently looking for a Senior Manager, Global Sales Distribution to develop and execute a global strategic plan for 3rd party distribution to decrease cost of sale and support book direct strategies.

As a Senior Manager, Global Sales Distribution, we rely on you to

  • Develop and implement Global Distribution Strategy in collaboration with Sales, Digital Marketing and Revenue Management.
  • Support AVP Global Distribution in devising and rolling out channel shift strategy from 3rd party distributors to internal channels or lower cost channels in key compression markets.
  • Manage Hybrid strategy with Regional Sales Leaders and Revenue Optimization in MEIA.
  • Perform research, analyze reporting, and provide consultation on new intermediary business models.
  • Use reporting tools to target hotels requiring additional support and work closely to educate and support specific hotels to achieve higher channel profitability.
  • Actively support AVP Global Distribution in the negotiation of intermediary Agreements.
  • Drive revenue from all 3rd party online channels with AVP Global Distribution to meet established targets.
  • Lead contract negotiations with MEIA Online Travel Platforms, OTAs and Wholesale accounts with Dynamic/Wholesale contracting.
  • Actively manage MEIA OTA and Wholesale Online accounts personally.
  • Reinforce rate parity compliance and monitor OTA/Wholesale contract compliance with particular emphasis on search landscape.
  • Work toward moving traditional wholesale partners to seamless product delivery, with dynamic connectivity.
  • Gain internal support for marketing and promotional opportunities from Brand Marketing, Regional Marketing, Regional Revenue Management teams and Hotels for 3rd party campaigns.
  • Provide leadership, support, education and guidance to hotels and regional teams in MEIA to strategically grow and manage their 3rd party online channels (OTA) business.
  • Devise process maps for online divisional campaigns and drive implementation, participation and compliance.
  • Develop and implement all relevant training material as required.
  • Report activities, achieved targets, contracted revenue and new player information for MEIA to HQ Sales & Distribution periodically.


We Are Looking For Someone Who Has

  • In-depth experience in distribution account management, project management, analytics, and revenue management, and deliver on execution, innovation and optimization.
  • Able to translate business needs into what needs to get done; ensures that all work is completed effectively; monitors the progress of work against schedules; maintains high performance standard; work effectively by using a highly collaborative style; able to work unsupervised.
  • Proven experience in strategy activation and project management.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role with a 3rd party distribution company or supplier.
  • Key contacts/relationships in place.
  • Strong negotiation and sales skills.
  • Sound understanding of revenue management in a changing environment.
  • Makes customer-focused decisions based on analysis of appropriate data considering both short and long-term impact on company/brand goals.
  • Passionately driven towards achieving/exceeding goals.
  • Excellent standards of personal presentation. Networker, relationship builder.
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm, creativity, understanding & manages relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Understands, communicates and supports corporate policies and guidelines.
