Our successful Hotel Receptionists…

• ensure excellent customer service levels are maintained when processing reservations and guest requests
• ensure all administrative functions of the guest services areas are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, with strict adherence to the hotel’s standards and procedures
• actively participate in a working environment where staff are fully trained, supportive of each other and competent
• maintain the health, hygiene and professional appearance of the reception area and all who work in it
• work as part of a team or individually to deliver high quality standards.

Sobre ti

At least 2 years experience in a 4 or 5 star hotel
• Manage check in and check out of all guests
• Operate all systems and use all resources pertaining to this job
• Must be able to utilise and update the CID System
• Maintain confidentiality of information
• Accumulate information, record data, and compile reports for process improvement
• Articulate requests from guests in such a way it is relevant and accurate
• Resolve guests complaints to the satisfaction of the guest
• Promoting Guest Loyalty and other loyalty programmes within the operations
• Cashiering of local and foreign currency
• Receive and process reservations (walk ins and late reservations)
• Process telephone calls guest and internal calls
• Communicate verbally
• Written Communication
• Must be able to multi task and cross train
