We are looking for a Hostess who is responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating arrangements to provide an excellent dining experience. The role requires strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.


•              Greeting customers as they walk into the restaurant.

•              Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists.

•              Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas

•              Provide menus, answering any initial questions and introduce their Waiter/Waitress’s.

•              Maintain a clean reception area.

•              Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)

•              Responsible for answering phone calls, taking reservations and address queries.

•              Assist and coordinate with kitchen and service staffs as needed.

•              Assigning guests to tables they prefer, optimize seating at different tables to ensure even workload for wait staff.

•              Engaging with guests to ensure they're happy with food and service.

•              Responding to complaints and helping to resolve them.

•              A good knowledge of the menu.

•              Helping out with other positions in the restaurant as needed.

•              Tend to special Guest needs and requests.

•              Observant to Guests' needs throughout dining experience to ensure they receive high quality service.

•              Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol control policies.

•              Help dining room staff by setting and clearing tables; replenishing water; serving beverages

•              Issue dining charges by verifying orders; calculating taxes; totaling bill for to-go orders

•              Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Sobre ti

•              Previous work experience as a Host/Hostess

•              Understanding of restaurant etiquette

•              Familiarity with health and safety regulations

•              Experience in managing reservations and must have demonstrable customer-service skills.

•              Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)

•              High level of patience and listening skills.

•              Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area.

•              Physically fit to meet the demands of the job, walking and standing for long hours.

•              Willing to work in any shifts and on weekends and holidays

•              High school diploma or equivalent and additional experience, education, training, or certifications is a plus.

•              Knowledge of a second language is a plus.

•              Basic math and computer skills.

•              Ability to provide top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment.

•              A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff.

•              Does high-quality work under less supervision.

•              Willing to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed.
