The Hoxton in Florence feature 161 beautiful bedrooms of varying sizes, a large ground floor restaurant, bar, lobby, rooftop and courtyard. There is also a basement meeting and events space.

Job Description

What you'll do..

Reporting to our Director of Finance you will be responsible for assisting with accounting daily operations.  

• Coordinate and manage general accounting operations (accounting records, adjustment entries, accruals and deferrals, amortizations).
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing according to national and/or international accounting principles
• Prepare accurate financial reports and analyses to support management.
• Reconcile bank accounts, customers, suppliers and other balance sheets.
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants for audits and mandatory declarations.
• Monitor tax and regulatory compliance (VAT, direct taxes, CU, 770, etc.).
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of accounting processes
