The Merrion Hotel has partnered with Flow Hospitality Training to provide a bespoke learning management system for all of our team members. The Merrion is the first hotel in Ireland to provide accredited and tailor made training via Flow Hospitality Training.

The Merrion, one Dublin's finest luxury hotels is recruiting for a Chef de Partie - Pastry.

Centrally located in Dublin within easy reach of public transport, this role will offer you the opportunity to work in a beautiful hotel where the highest of standards are in place and where you have all the tools you need to do your job. A candidate with the ability to be professional and communicate courteously and effectively with guests and colleagues alike. Fulltime: 39h per week
Salary: EUR18.05 p.h.

The Role
We are looking for a service driven individual to join our five star Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to either begin or continue your career in one of the Leading Hotels of the World. Working with a professional and welcoming Team you will be part of creating Merrion Moments for our guests and colleagues, with your main duties including:

* Prepare, produce, and present high-quality pastry items including desserts, breads, cakes, petit fours, and other baked goods.
* Support the Executive Head Pastry Chef in the day-to-day running of the pastry kitchen.
* Ensure consistent quality and presentation in all pastry dishes served.
* Assist with menu planning and development of new pastry items.
* Ensure all food preparation is carried out in accordance with food hygiene standards and regulations.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry area, including stock rotation and waste control.
* Monitor stock levels and communicate ordering needs with the kitchen team.
