Membership Growth Manager
Sobre el trabajo
Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It
You're the one who grows our community with intention. You know how to spot the right person, sell them on the TSH vision, and make joining feel like the obvious next step. Commercial instinct meets community sense.
This isn't cold calling your way through a list. People come to us through word-of-mouth, events, referrals - warm leads with real interest. Your job is to convert that interest, manage the full journey from first enquiry to signed contract, and make sure the members you bring in actually stay and are actively party of the community.
A big part of this role is keeping an eye on the mix. Our community is at its best when it's diverse - different industries, backgrounds, and interests all under one roof. You stay close to how the community is evolving and occasionally nudge things in the right direction, making sure no single type of member dominates and that new people genuinely add to what's already there.
In Case You Don't Know Who We Are
Known for being the rule breakers in hospitality, TSH is a fun, creative and inspiring environment where everyone can work, stay, learn and play and most importantly - be themselves. As an employer we look, act and think like a hotel, but instead we offer a lot more. Think student accommodation, long and short stay options, gyms, talks, events, rooftop bar and eat & drink escapes as well as community and coworking spaces. Located in The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, and the UK, with several new openings on the way, this hybrid hospitality concept may take root in the heart of Europe, but our plans are set for going global.
What You'll Do
Sales & Acquisition
- Build and execute a commercial plan to drive membership sales - and hit (or beat) your targets. Not afraid to try new tactics.
- Manage the full lead-to-member journey: nurture, convert, close - across lifestyle memberships, dedicated desks, and private offices
- Run tours that make people fall in love with the space and the community
- Drive renewals proactively and develop retention plans with the Member Relations Manager
- Keep an eye on the community mix: stay close to who's in the hub and occasionally steer towards a healthy balance
- Lead monthly forecasting and reporting: conversion, churn, revenue per member, and pipeline health
- Partner with marketing on campaigns to attract the right new members
Relationship & Business Development
- Make referrals a growth engine: work closely with the Member Relations Manager, Membership Hosts, and programming team to keep members so happy they bring in their network - and make it easy for them to do so
- Onboard committee members, and track referral conversions - word-of-mouth is your best sales tool
- Build long-term relationships with B2B and coworking members, and collaborate with the Regional Commercial Manager on partnership opportunities
- Handle all membership admin: bookings, contracts, billing, and invoices
- Feed insights from tours and member conversations back to the product, marketing, and hub teams
What You'll Have
- 5+ years of sales experience with a proven track record - preferably in membership clubs, coworking, or hospitality
- You focus on a sense of belonging, not just products
- A feel for community dynamics: you understand what makes a group tick and how a diverse mix of people brings a space to life
- Comfortable making occasional judgement calls about member balance - and able to explain your thinking clearly
- Strong negotiation skills and even stronger follow-through
- Precise and data-driven: at home in a pipeline report as much as a face-to-face conversation
- A natural collaborator who works well across teams
- Fluent in English. Dutch is a pre. Other languages are very welcome
What We Offer
- The opportunity to work at a dynamic, multi-national company. Not just another hotel - we're a game changing innovator, challenging every convention and defining the future
- The opportunity to work for a Certified B Corp® company that balances profit with positive impact, collaborating with organisations like Movement on the Ground and the TSH Talent Foundation to create meaningful change
- The chance to learn and grow in your role with the potential for future growth
- Awesome discounts in all our properties in Europe and not just for you, but also for your friends and family!
- A wonderful workplace to call home, full of events, fun colleagues and all the other amazing salary/benefits stuff
Who you are, is how we want you to be. To us, hybrid hospitality goes across the board, from how we service our guests to how we represent ourselves. Here, everyone belongs, and we welcome people no matter their nationality, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion or culture. Your authenticity keeps our team diverse. Come as you are.
