We are seeking a dedicated and professional Security Officer to join our team at Verdala Wellness Hotel-AX Privilege. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our property, staff, and guests. This role is critical in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment while upholding the highest standards of vigilance and professionalism.
Requirements:
* Patrol the premises to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and property.
* Respond to alarms, emergencies, or disturbances promptly and professionally.
* Monitor access points and enforce security procedures to prevent unauthorised entry.
* Report and document any incidents or suspicious activities.
* Provide a friendly yet professional security presence for guests and staff.
* Inspect and maintain security equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
* Follow safety protocols and assist with evacuations or first aid when required.
Responsibilities:
* Previous experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role, preferably in a hospitality or customer-focused setting.
* Strong knowledge of security procedures, surveillance systems, and emergency response protocols.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with professionalism.
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail in monitoring and reporting incidents.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
* A minimum of 1 year of experience in the same position is required.
* Fluency in English; additional languages are considered an asset
