Host / Hostess

Xara Collection is seeking a professional and personable Host / Hostess to join our team at OKA’s at The Villa, while also supporting operations at Rosami.

This role is integral in ensuring a seamless guest journey across both restaurant concepts. As the first point of contact, the Host / Hostess is responsible for managing reservations, coordinating guest flow, and delivering a warm and professional welcome in line with our service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming first impression for guests approaching the venue and confidently present the restaurant concepts to encourage walk-in dining.
• Welcome and engage guests upon arrival in a professional and friendly manner
• Manage reservations, guest lists, and walk-ins across both OKA’s and Rosami
• Coordinate table allocations in collaboration with the service teams
• Manage waitlists and communicate accurate waiting times to guests
• Escort guests to their tables where required
• Act as a central communication point between front-of-house teams
• Handle guest enquiries, requests, and feedback efficiently and professionally
• Support smooth service flow during peak periods across both restaurants
• Ensure the hosting area within the restaurant remains organised and presentable 

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hosting or front-of-house role within hospitality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and confident presence
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organisational and coordination skills
• Experience with reservation systems is preferred
• Fluency in English (additional languages are considered an asset)
