Director of Finance

POSITION OVERVIEW

The position is responsible in providing the management with the assurance that the resources are procured and utilized according to plans in order to achieve the company's objectives. Further, to ensure that all assets and properties of the company are safeguarded, accounting records are maintained in accordance with the bookkeeping requirements of different regulatory agencies. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To ensure maximum return of financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems. 
• To ensure that all transactions of the company are properly recorded and accounted for in accordance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Maintains the highest level of control, design an audit, and internal control system; make sure that all policies and procedures are implemented and complied with.
• Controls the physical inventories of SOE and FF and E, and ensure their security and avoid loses. 
• Responsible for all bank transactions and bank accounts. 
• Responsible for the timely and reliable reporting on operating results to Amanresorts and owning company, for establishing forecast, and for all legal and fiscal obligations. 
• Prepares Operations Budget.
• Controls and follows up all contracts, including insurances, and all legal documents especially those having financial implications. 
• Responsible for the effective control of all costs by trying to keep them as low as possible while achieving the desired quality and standard of service.
• Measures performance against approved operating plans and standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• The position will be based in Manila with two (2) to three (3) times visit in the property. 
• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
• Preferably Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• At least two (2) years' experience in auditing, preferably with the big four (4) auditing firms in the country
• At least five (5) years' experience in financial management preferably in hospitality industry
• Professional and has strong work ethics
• Critical thinker and has superior analytical skills
