POSITION OVERVIEW

In this position, you will play a key role in managing all aspects of the wine programs and related business.  

You will be expected to deliver a high-quality experience to our guests and motivate our staff to ensure excellent customer service. Supervisors will be responsible for maintaining quality and increasing profitability. Exceptional management skills and a strong understanding of customer service are a must. Developing the Wine Program for all the property, updating and following up relationships with suppliers and wine producers, updating pricing and menu daily if need it and master stock overview together with the Beverage Director. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To ensure that the Brand is protected, to ensure that all business partners and guests are surprised and delighted by their on-property experience, in the best traditions of the Aman culture. 
  • To approach the overall beverage activities from a strategic perspective. To ensure that associates also provide excellent service to internal customers in other departments as appropriate. 
  • Handles all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily. 
  • Ensures that the outlet is operated in line with maximizing profit while delivering on the brand promise. 
  • Beverage wine menu development 
  • Keep the quality of beverage standard, presentations monitored frequently.  
  • Work closely with Director of F&B, Director of Beverage and Bar, Assistant of F&B,  Hotel Manager to meet the brand promises and expectation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent work experience is required
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years F&B Management or Supervisory experience, preferably in a luxury resort setting
  • Possess a basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Micros and able to learn property POS systems
  • Full knowledge of dining room and kitchen procedures, as well as staff management experience, is required
  • Good interaction with guests. ‘Be a representative of Aman, culture, and traditions.
