Spa Massage Therapist

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Spa Massage Therapist with 730 Crown Spa LLC at Aman New York will meet and exceed guest expectations by providing efficient and courteous spa and wellness services in accordance with the company’s standards.

 

This position has an hourly compensation rate of $16 plus commission.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Provide a professional treatment to guests with technical knowledge and fine skills

· Promote our products with detailed knowledge

· Conduct spa tours to guests

· Professional Consultation for treatment guests

· Controlling inventories for treatment and retail items

· Maintain spa facility tidy and clean based on our hygiene standards

· Ensure high knowledge of additional hotel services, Rooms, F&B etc.

· Support during all spa special events and activities as requested

· Responsible for maintaining knowledge of all spa and member activities, spa treatments, spa products, fitness and wellness programs

· Handle guest complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, informing supervisor when required, to ensure follow through and the problems are resolved satisfactorily

· Ensure high standards of personal presentation and grooming

· Attend hotel and spa training sessions when requested by management

· Maintain positive interactions with guests and maintain a positive relationship with colleagues

· Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by spa management team

QUALIFICATIONS

· 3 Year Experience in a luxury hotel environment

· National/State recognized Massage Therapy and/or Aesthetics Certification

· Basic Computer and typing skills

· Positive, engaging, and energetic personality

· Able to be organized, manage time wisely and work with little to no direct supervision

· Very high attention to detail

· Sensitive to cultural nuances

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal on English

· Able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, fast paced environment

· Excellent people skills and the ability to work under pressure and with various stakeholders

· Ability to maintain a clean and professional appearance as per company policies

· Ability to stand for extended periods of time

· Multilingual is preferred
