We are currently looking a Engineering and Maintenance Manager to join our team in Milan.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance Management:

Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance programs for all engineering systems.
Schedule and supervise preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services as needed.

Facility Management:

Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety and building codes.

Team Leadership:

Lead and motivate the engineering and maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and support as necessary.
Delegate tasks effectively and foster a collaborative work environment to achieve departmental goals.

Budgeting and Cost Control:

Develop annual maintenance budgets and monitor expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or safety standards.

Project Management:

Plan and execute capital improvement projects, renovations, and upgrades to enhance facility infrastructure and operational efficiency.
Coordinate project timelines, budgets, and resources in collaboration with other departments and stakeholders.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards related to engineering and maintenance operations.
Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures to minimize workplace hazards and promote a safe working environment.

Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventories, and service contracts.
Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators, maintenance metrics, and project status updates for management review.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in engineering and maintenance management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Strong technical knowledge of building systems and equipment.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team
Proficiency in budgeting, project management, and facility maintenance software.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practices in facility management and safety.
Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Our Group was created in 1974, when Roberto Polito built his first establishment in Punta Ala, Tuscany (Hotel Cala del Porto), working with his wife Lisa to develop a unique concept of hospitality in terms of life experience: a journey in the Italian style through its culture and various traditions.

This new concept of contemporary luxury is aimed at an increasingly demanding public that is attentive to new trends, such as our most exclusive suite – Roman Penthouse – a 590 sqm apartment with the best panoramic view of the Eternal City.
