As an Assistant F&B Manager at Mount Nelson, A Belmond Hotel, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of all F&B outlets, including restaurants, bars, room service, and banquets, ensuring adherence to quality standards, service procedures, and health and safety regulations. Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Supervise and support restaurant managers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Regularly interact with guests to solicit feedback and ensure their satisfaction, addressing any complaints or suggestions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and revenue forecasts for the F&B department, working to achieve revenue targets while managing expenses effectively.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities to enhance the skills and competencies of restaurant managers and their teams.


What You Bring:

  • Prior experience in F&B operations within the hospitality industry is essential, preferably in upscale or luxury hotel settings. Experience in progressively responsible roles, including supervisory or managerial positions, is required.
  • Excellent managerial skills, including the ability to delegate tasks effectively, prioritize responsibilities, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Thorough understanding of F&B operations, including restaurant management, banquet services, bar operations, and room service.
